Founded in 1998, Fitosila LLC successfully operating in the market for over 15 years. The company has grown from a small trading enterprise to one of the largest manufacturers of traditional medicine in the Russian market. The main range comprises products based on medicinal plants and fats extracted from wild animals. The first production line has been started in 2002, and since then the company continues to expand its product portfolio and improves the quality of the goods.

Years of cooperation with several research institutes, such as Kirov’s Research Institute of Hunting, Pushchino’s State Research Institute «Research Institute of Fundamental Biology Problems» of Russian Academy of Sciences, and Independent Non-profit Organization «Soyuzekspertiza», allowed the «Fitosila» company to develop and implement a large number of unique technologies. These inventions include a technology for preservation of therapeutic properties of animal fats through industrial processing; the regulatory framework for fatty acid composition of animal fats and oil-based products to help identification of counterfeit goods. The company also has its own laboratory facilities, which allows strict quality control for both raw materials and consumer products.

The «Fitosila» company exercises careful usage of natural resources, therefore all raw materials are received from licensed hunting farms and individual hunters.

In addition to the production of cosmeceuticals and oil-based remedies, the «Fitosila» company is a full-cycle enterprise producing medicinal herbs from cultivation to packaging thus avoiding import of raw materials which in turn has a positive influence on the price and quality of consumer products.

The future plans of the «Fitosila» company include the further development of product portfolio and conducting numerous clinical trials of traditional remedies followed by the implementation of the results into practice.
